Ordered the griddle for the 24x48 Charcoal Grill and this thing is a BEAST.
Weighing in at right around 40 lbs... this thing is awesome.
The griddle measures at the same thickness as the grill body, so I'm assuming that it's made from 10-gauge stainless.
The framing is made from 1' square tubing, with angle stock running down the center.
Integrated grease tray with drain hole.
Lid still closes with the griddle in place. Although, it will create a small gap equal to the thickness of the steel. (non-issue)
You'll have to call or email Yoder directly, as this isn't a listed item. (At least not anywhere that I've seen)
Thanks to Mike Roark for his help!
That’s a sweet setup. I have been trying to convince my wife that we need that grill but no luck.
Thanks, Ryan! Yeah, I hear you. It was definitely a splurge for me... I've been cooking on a Weber my whole life, so it was quite a sticker shock to see what some of these grills go for. As long as it's something I actually use, my wife doesn't ever give me too much grief. But it's when I get into "collector" mode that she starts to make noise about "do we really need that?"
