That is a sweet pit. I've always liked the looks of that one, and I bet it cooks as good as it looks.

That's really nice!! I'd love to post mine, but have yet to figure that part out. I see the add attachment, but can't get past that. Oh well, I'll figure it out eventually.

You will find that this forum allows you to upload your pictures directly. You do not have to post them somewhere else, and then post a link to them here. We wanted to make it a simple process to share your pictures and experiences with other members of the Yoder family.

That's a beautiful pit. Cooked a few comps on it myself... In fact, it's behind me in my avatar (that was at
BBQ for the Troops at Ft. Riley in November 2013).

Nice! I have been considering trying a pellet cooker...I mean, just for research purposes of course. If...no, when I get my next pit I might try your combo plan there.

Nice! What type of temperature differential do you see in the upright compared to the horizontal chamber?

not positive but right offhand I'd say around 70- 80 degrees.
next cook I will make a point to jot down exact temps using my Maverick,
then we'll both know...

Bigdogphin - That is a nice looking custom. I had the opportunity to look at it up close when it was out at Sam's. Congratulations on your rig and recent successes.
Here is my Durango 24. Trailer set up still in progress.

Wow, I suddenly feel very inadequate as a mere 640 owner after seeing all these rigs! I'm going to have to save pennies and get a big custom rig soon to hang w/ you fellas! (I'll still put my ribs, butts and briskets up against anyone's, though)
Congrats to all the owners of these beautiful grills/smokers.
