Hello all,
I currently have a YS640 with the Silver Competition Cart and absolutely love it. While searching through the local classifieds, I found a very neglected 2014 YS 480 and purchased it. It is in desperate need of cleaning and paint. I have read many discussion threads on how to paint the cooker but I may have overlooked what paint to use on the hopper and cart. Are the hopper and cart powder coated or do I use the same Satin Black Thermalux paint?
Also...
The pervious owner never took off the insulated blanket and serial number plaque is completely blackened from smoke. Does anyone know how to clean the heavy smoke buildup off the front serial plate or can Yoder replace the plaque?
