1. Remove the exterior packaging.
2. Remove the banding that is holding the cooker to the pallet.
At this point there will need to be a second person available to help.
3. There is a U shape built at each end of the cooker holding the wheels off of the pallet. Using a drill, remove the screws from the U at the stack end of the cooker.
4. Pull the bottom of the U out towards the end of the pallet.
5. With the U removed from the stack end of the pit, roll the cooker off of the rear U bracket. Be sure the second person is in place at the front of the pit to prevent the cooker from rolling off of the end of the pallet.
6. Carefully roll the cooker off of the pallet. You will need to help support the weight of the pit as it leaves the pallet, until it contacts the ground.
Yep....just as Herb explained it. That's the way I uncrated my YS1500 off the pallet a couple of weeks ago. Its a heavy tank.
