The purple model in my profile picture.
The BAD news: Fed-ex cut the bands, took unit off pallet, and strapped it to the wall of the truck. Cardboard was on the floor, and the foam in pieces.
My 1500 was beat to crap and back. Well, Fed ex bought that one, I tool pictures and emailed them to Yoder,
In less that 15 minutes, Yoder had processed the order to rebuild my cooker.
I'm not happy with Fed-ex, but very glad to be dealing with a company like Yoder.
My replacement will be shipped the first week of October, and I hope arrives as it should.
This sure was a bummer. Makes you wonder what someone was thinking.
I feel for you. I had similar problem when my YS1500 arrived. The pallet was all beat to heck and pieces broken which caused the smoker to slide on the pallet and the metal straps cut into the lid taking off the paint down to bare metal. The orange cart was also damaged and had to repainted. Yoder did a great job in repairing mine and shipping back to me within 1 1/2 weeks.
Hang in there, it will be worth it
