640 stack damper

640 stack damper

Heres a question. I have been told that the stack on a 640 doesn't have a damper on the smoke stack
because of a chance of having a fire go down the auger. why isn't that true for the 1500?

The YS1500 cooks in a completely different manner than the YS480 or YS640. The size of the stack is much larger on the YS1500, and is coupled with the HMS. The YS1500 stack damper should never be closed more than 50% for the same reason.
