YS640 Outside

I just got my YS-640 and would really like to keep it on my deck for ease of access to the kitchen; I have the Yoder cover. My question is will it be ok with just the cover or should I wrap some trap around it too. Mostly worried about the winters here at 6,000+ft. Would love to store it indoors, but that is not really feasible at this point....will it be ok if I make sure all the pellets are out prior to storing it?

For long term storage, it is best to remove all of the pellets. Even during the cooking season, in very humid environments, it is best to remove the pellets, as they will become moisture contaminated in just a week or two.

The Yoder cover does breathe, so a periodic check for moisture would be in order. If you start to see some blemishes in the paint, make sure to repair and paint as soon as they appear.
