Chalk one up for moron operator.

I just noticed I had inadvertently put the right plate on my 1500 in with the larger holes toward the center.

It seems that the holes should get larger left to right as it approaches the stack. I would bet this matters..

Yes, it matters. The holes should get larger toward the chimney.
