Diffuser plate question

Diffuser plate question

Hi guys,

I am thinking about buying the optional 2-piece diffuser plate for my YS-640.

I have the orginal diffuser plate. I know I can get the reinforced diffuser plate to help out on high temp cooking but was wondering if the 2-piece diffuser plate was reinforced/updated as well? Can it handle the high temps like the updated version or is it like the old version I have with a removable door?

The 2 piece is built much more sturdy, and can take anything that you can throw at it temperature wise.

Ok great, I was hoping so. I wanted something that wasn't going to warp and was easier to clean out between cooks.
