Hello. Sorry if this has been asked before, but my searches on "caster" and "wheels" didn't bring me any results that seemed relevant. So, tonight I'm wheeling my unit into the garage and noticed that it was not balanced. Looking underneath both caster wheels are bent right at the swivel. I've always thought that they were undersized and took extra special care when moving the grill. I always lift from the handle so that the caster wheels are almost off the ground. So, I'm very shocked (saddened) that they both have failed.
Does anyone have any suggestions? My next step is to take it to a welding shop and put something on that can handle the weight. I hate to do that because it will change the look of my biggest backyard love. I do love Yoder and will continue to recommend them. However, somebody in the engineering design messed this one up. I move it maybe 15 feet a couple of times a month on average. Seems like it was undersized. Maybe it was the supplier, but regardless it has Yoder's name on it.
Thanks for any help.
I ordered the new set and am very happy. Mike in sales was stellar. Very stellar. He told me to expect them in two weeks and I actually got them in two days. Regardless, it was a fun Saturday project with our teenage boy to get things swapped out. The unit rolls as smooth as butter now. Yoder, keep doing great things!!
