Hello,

Why are some users considered registered? What does that mean?

If you can post to the forum, you are registered. If all you can do is read the forum, you are not registered.

OK, I logged out, cleared my cache and then exited browser. I went to forum and the bar underneath my name does not say registered users like other accounts. Says Cheyenne and has 6 stars. Also under usergroups in my control panel "registered user" check box is grayed out

When you post the first time, it changes to the star display. The more posts you make, the more the stars fill in and the smoker name will change.

User Dlovett6 joined September 19, 2016 and has 4 posts but has "REGISTERED USER" under his name I joined October 12th 2015 and I have the stars and 71 posts but no "REGISTERED USER"

Once his post count hits 50 posts his will change to Cheyenne with stars like yours.

In other words since you have been around longer and have posted more, you are more special than someone that says "registered user". We all know you have been around a while and have posted lots, so you must be registered.....
