My wife recently got me a 2 piece heat deflector and I noticed that the tab to pull the trap door off is different than all the ones I've seen online so far; instead of a moving metal loop, it's a welded on metal tab. I was just curious as to the reason for the change. This 2 piece seems much heavier duty than the one piece that comes with the YS-640.

The change to the door was a running production change, and was done to address issues that customers experienced of having the ring being stuck to the door from cooking debris, and not being able to remove the door.
