The purpose of this test is to verify that both of the fans are properly functioning in a Yoder pellet cooker. This test is only required to be done when requested by Yoder Customer Service.
This test will require a small screwdriver and a flashlight.
1. Plug the power cord into the cooker
2. Put the small screwdriver into the BOTTOM of the fan slot on the end of the pellet hopper, to stop the external fan from running.
3. While holding the screwdriver to stop the external fan, toggle the power switch to the ON position. DO NOT PUSH THE START BUTTON!
4. Listen for the internal fan to start running. It should sound strong and constant.
5. While holding the screwdriver to stop the external fan, use the flashlight to look through the TOP of the fan slots to observe if the internal fan is running.
6. Pull the screwdriver out and observe if the external fan begins to run.
