Enough Smoke?

Hello Yoders!
I currently have a Traeger, and while I know its not anything like the Yoder, I am wondering what the smoke flavor on the Yoder is like? I have to use things like Amaz-N Tube smoke enhancers and things like that to get good smoke on my Traeger. I dont want to spend another 1500 on a Yoder to have the same thing. I love the conveience of Pellets, but Im thinking about a Stick Burner as well.
Thanks
JT

Hey JT,
Having owned a traeger and now ys640 I can give you my perspective but without the first hand knowledge of a stick burner it would only be a comparison of the former two.
The versatility of the Yoder ys640 is nice as you can play with your cooks...reverse sear, direct flame etc. But to get to your question, will you get the flavor you are looking for? This has never been a problem for most. If you liked your Traeger, you will love your Yoder. Honestly flavor has never been a problem for me. From the day I bought my Yoder and sold my Traeger, each cook has been better than just about every cook that I had done before.

Nothing can beat the flavor of a real fire, and smoke from real wood. It's more work, but worth it!!

I have never had an issue of not having enough smoke flavor in any of my cooks. In fact, the food that I cook in direct grilling mode has that great wood grilled flavor that other grills could never have attained. I would also use a stronger flavor wood to enhance the smoke effect. (Hickory, Cherry) versus some of the milder flavors such as Apple. Just my .02
