After watching an episode of DDD, I was inspired to try this rapid rib cooking technique. It turned out so good and was so easy I can now sale my Durango.

First I rubbed the ribs and cryovac sealed them. I didn't have access to a vacuum tumbler, but I figured this was close enough. Let them marinate in the fridge until I was ready to cook.

Got the large pot of water up to a boil and added rub and copious amounts of beer for additional flavor. Well, I think some of the beer made it into the boil...

Dropped the ribs in for a quick 30 minute cook.

Pulled the ribs out, dried them off and sauced them. I didn't fire up the smoker for this cook, so I didn't see the need to set up a grill like in the show. So I put them in the microwave for a few minutes to set the sauce.

Served with some steak fries I cooked in the freezer, and some more beer.

Thanks for looking and enjoy your day.
