I have a Yoder 640 that I replaced the controller (wanted the new wifi), pit thermometer probe and igniter on last fall. The initial run had the pit temp stuck at 67 deg after it was clearly above that. Thinking that I had the probe wires crossed (instructions were not real clear on the red/white wires) so i disassembled and swapped the wires. Bam that seemed to fix it and it worked fine all fall though i did not use it much.
I didnt really grill all winter, and now its spring and I have the same issue again. First run the pit temp readout is stuck at 67 deg (after the heat-up phase)
Where is the problem? Did i get a bad probe or motherboard or is it something else?
Thank you
