Hello to all. Just picked up a ys640 yesterday. Plenty of years using a WSM and a Pit barrel. I also custom made a concrete block pit to do whole hogs and other large cooks. I installed BBQ Guru temp controllers on all of these units. I was very pleased with how easy they all were to control and the quality of the meat when it was done.
I decided to pick up a pellet smoker since moving and building a new house, instead of building another block pit. I am looking forward to firing this unit up and seeing what it can do.
