Ever had that moment of panic at 2 AM, plugging in the smoker and pressing "on" and nothing happens? Well I just did. Then I woke up a little more and pushed the female end of the power cord all the way in and tried it again. Brisket on at 225F and 2:25 AM.
I have.
Except it was the GFI outlet that the grill was plugged into that had tripped. A simple push of the reset button, and things were good to go.
Much ado about nothing!
Enjoy your briskie!
At 2 AM, if it doesn't work, I would suggest calling Herb directly, so he can talk you through it. Might as well share the panic with others....

Better get a stick burner for a backup, I recommend the Loaded Wichita. No power, no problem.
