YS1500 Burn Grate removal & instalation

YS1500 Burn Grate removal & instalation

I am finding it hard to remove and install my burn grate. If I place the right side in, the left side will not clear the "shield" in front of the auger.

It is as almost if the shield that come out, and down in front of the auger is two long?
