Received the U28 updater, removed the side panel and controller. Plugged in the 6 pin connector with red wire on the ribbon towards the top (transformer), plugged in the 12 pin into the programmer and get the brief green LED flash as described. Press the button and get a momentary green flash followed by a solid red light. Also disconnected the controller form the unit. Retried 5 or 6 times with same result.
Yes. I also disconnected it with no luck. Hopefully it will come back with U27.
At some point, it would be well worth looking at a SD/Micro SD card with the firmware on it. You could ship those and charge $5.00 for the card, which would be simpler and cheaper for everyone.
Send an email to [email protected] with your phone number, and I will call you and walk you through doing the update.
I just received the programmer and I updated my 640, I get the steady green flashing light and then some red and green flashes then some more green flashes and its done. Now my Yoder will not power up, I verified the power outlet is working, plugged in another appliance. I checked the fuse on the Yoder, looks good. My Yoder is dead in the water and will not power up, any suggestions? Thanks
Thank you Joey and Herb for the quick replies and solution, as always Yoders customer support is top notch.
