I turned on my smoker today (YS-640) and it started normally. Temp set at 350 and controller display 350 with the lines going left to right upward. when the internal temp reached 110 the display switched from 350 to the internal temp of 110 like it should. then in about 10 seconds the display went from 110 to 500 and switched back to the 350 with the lines changing to right to left downward even though internal temperature (from my grill grate gauge) was 150. I tried 3 times shutting down and restarting and it did the same thing. Does this mean my internal temp probe is bad or the controller? Whatever temp I set internal temp never got over 160 degrees even though the controller thought it was over 500. Do I need to call Yoder or ATBBQ where I purchased the Yoder.
Thanks,
Jerry
