Do you unplug the cooker after use? If the cooker was left plugged in, before you start it, it must be unplugged for a minimum of 30 seconds.

Did you do the pellet catch and watch the igniter? Were you able to use an OHM meter and read the resistance of the igniter?
If your cooker is a year old according to the door plate, you can order a replacement igniter here: http://www.atbbq.com/catalog/product/vi ... t-igniter/
yes I watched the igniter and felt it too. nothing. haven't done the continuity test yet.

Do you clean the ash from the burn grate before each use? This is a requirement: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=454
What is the OHM reading per the test document?
Again, the number 1 reason a cooker does not ignite is that it was not unplugged for a minimum of 30 seconds before a cooking session. It is a requirement that a cooker be unplugged after the cool down cycle, and left unplugged until the next cooking session.
You may still use the cooker by manually lighting it, per the instructions in the manual.
What is the serial number and build date from your cooker's door plate?
by the way it worked great at xmas for a prime rib. there was no ash build up at all. I have no problem paying for it. just want to get it fixed. ser. 22602 1-13-16 will order new one but like to order the thermocouple too. mine is mounted on the left side wall not sure wish one to order. thanks

The problem could be in timing, because it is recommended to keep it 30 second, are you sure that you counted and respected this time frame? We had something similar in the kitchen, and every time it did not want to ignate, this 30 seconds were saving us. These plugging and unplugging upon the cooling cycle are very important if you want to keep your cooker in a great condition for a longer period. They are pretty expensive, so you do not want to change it each half a year. Have you tried to lighten it manually? We usually try not to do that, but sometimes could be saving. Btw, thermocouple should be only of high-quality. We usually buy them
